I need to give a shout-out to Big Bone BBQ, on Eagleson Rd, not far from CTC.
So far their poutine, both smoked and fried wing options and pulled pork have been very good. Their fries alone are fantastic. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff, to cap it off.
They don't advertise it (I told them they should) but they are nut free and as my son has a severe allergy, when I found this place a few weeks ago before a game, we had to go again on Tuesday before the Jackets game.
Best pizza in town if you haven’t tried is PiSquared. And this is coming from an Italian who married an Italian from Italy. Try it if you have not. The dough is sourdough so it is not filling and doesn’t bloat you.
We're thrilled to have you join us at our pizzeria, where we serve up the perfect equation of flavor and quality. Get ready to indulge in a culinary adventure that will leave you cravin...
The mushroom one is called "Fun-Guy" amazing. The the others were meat loves, Caprese, Rustic Italian and Margherita. Ask for them well-done and it will satisfy you more than you know. Perfect for this evening, on Uber eats as well.

Hefty price, and you're a bit tightly packed, but the staff are attentive and the food is excellent, especially if you enjoy meat.
It can be a tad annoying waiting for a handful of zucchini to cook on the grill but it is all you can eat, and if you get a good rhythm going it's not a huge problem.
I'd call and ask about the reservation/lineup procedure. I got in with friends and they explained that Gyubee wanted a full group of 6 to set a reservation, just to make sure there were no wasted spaces.
Maybe it's calmed down a bit now, I can't be sure.
My kids go crazy for their garlic sauce. They say it is the best. Now, if teenagers are eating garlic sauce on a Saturday night, you gotta know it is good! Their wings are excellent too.

I made some homemade tuom using the immersion blender and wow, that was so much easier that with a food processor, will never go back
4 ingredients, just turn the garlic, lemon juice and salt into a paste with the immersion blender, then add the oil on top, put the blender to the very bottom and blitz it, lifting it slowly as the sauce emulsifizes
Super easy and super tasty. If your blender fits in the mason jar, you can make it right in the container you store it in.
The only time I ever really felt it was worth it was when they did their king crab legs promo and that's all I ate. I don't think they do Crab legs anymore though...
Mandarin is decent just way too expensive. Pretty much only go if I'm suckered into it for someone's birthday because they get their dinner for free if they bring 3 or 4 other people
Gyubee is excellent, although I've only been to the downtown location. I make reservations every time even if it's just me and a buddy.
Pro tip: Put a little ssamjang on a piece of lettuce and then roll it around a piece of cooked meat.
They also have takoyaki now which are actually super good quality for an AYCE spot. Takoyaki is easily one of my favorite foods though so I'm probably more than a lil biased
