Speed kills and the Sens speedy forwards have exploited the Bruins abysmal dmen.

Also, Ryan Spooner is not good at hockey. I've been holding it in for weeks, hoping he would turn it around, but when he isn't scoring, he is literally bad at every other facet of the game.

HA! Yeah, the problem is with your third line center who makes less than a million dollars a year. It certainly wouldn't be on the guy making $7.25 mill per year that disappeared after October...

If Flyers lose both we can still get in and get creamed

Pens are resting guys too, and Isles will probably do the same thing.

Seems like it's definitely better to play playoff teams than non-playoff teams at the end of the year.

We traded four picks at the deadline and kept Eriksson for this.

Bound to happen. Buying and keeping LE made basically zero sense at the deadline. Whole world was discussing for what we would trade Loui and how many picks we would be getting and then Sweeney turns around trading even more picks away.

I agree with some other posters. The end was the Seguin-trade. It put such a black cloud over ours heads, especially with the way it happened and all that crap with the Behind the B thing. Pretty disgraceful for an organisation to act like spoiled fans who cannot take a SCF-loss without losing their nerves and trading away the biggest scapegoats.

Perfect example for why 1 dollar =/= 4 quarters

Plus it was a win now move. You could argue in their favor had they actually did something in the playoffs, but they didn't.

When you look at the players that have been lost the past few seasons and look at what has been brought in as replacement then you get a good idea of why the Bruins are where they are at. It's really that simple. Very few of the moves have worked out exceedingly well.

Potentially 2 years in a row of missing the playoffs by 1 or 2 points. I think i've had enough. I'd rather be near last in the league than miss it by 1 or 2 points. It's painful this way.

Seriously, we're now that team that drafts 14th overall every year... not good enough to make the show, not bad enough to get elite game breaking talent near the top of the draft.

nightmare scenario

It's tough since he has talent, but he needs to be a winger. Just not strong enough to be a center. Also I'd like to see another coach to work with him

Me.

It appears the sudden loss of Rask rattled the ranks. And then, unfortunately, Gus couldn't stop anything. All fall down. :(

Gus did fine until the skaters decided to follow up a ****** period with the worst one I've seen in ages. Two of the goals were deflections or one-timers as well

As a guy who's been pretty high on Spooner, I at leas partially agree. Aside from his random flashes where he looks unstoppable, he doesn't have much use.

Far from one of the bigger problems however.

It's not the only goals, it's the lack of jump and heart again. They let ottawa dictate the game so far really. The stink from the extra goal or two just makes is worse.

Just like the classic.. flat.

Anyone who was in that room when they traded Seguin should be fired now! Including that idiot who said, "We're Champions, not babysitters"!

Its not the fact they traded him, it's the pathetic return they got. But agreed. Cam should be held responsible. Sweeney will lose his job because cam doesn't have much length left on his leash

Remember Toronto. ...The comeback. ...oh wait. ..Looch put the team on his back for that game....who will do that today ?...Awful quiet on the bench. ..sigh.

SAD

I guess Hayes will be that guy. Seeing how he was essentially the Lucic clone they tried to get. Hlaf the player Looch is.

He's not strong enough period, even as a winger. He gets manhandled in the corners digging for pucks.
