I think it's pretty clear they didn't come out hungry to win. After the timeout their a different team now, finally playing with effort. It's disgusting...

Was it any better when he defended McQuaid and hung that goal on the forwards? I mean, yikes. He passed it directly to the guy, but it's on the forwards for not realizing McQuaid can't clear a puck??

McQuaid put it up where Stempniak was supposed to be. Stempniak was up near the blue line floating around for some reason.

Jeremy smith starts the third and gets his first career win here. 5-4 OT.

Ottawa scored 4 goals in 10 minutes. Definitely possible Boston can do similiar and score 3 goals in one period. That bing said, it doesn't look really optimistic.

After first period everything looked so good

Potentially 2 years in a row of missing the playoffs by 1 or 2 points. I think i've had enough. I'd rather be near last in the league than miss it by 1 or 2 points. It's painful this way.

Very disappointing 2nd. Got some chances towards the end there, but they need to make the 3rd as good as the 2nd was bad to have any chance here.

At least the rainy day crew has shown up to make us all realize how bad things are.

McQuaid is rapidly approaching the "useless vet" category.

For some reason, guys who Julien has overpromoted to upper lines such as Kelly, Talbot, McQuaid, Miller, etc. are heros to Brickley. It doesn't make sense.

Something tells me it's something to do with who Andy was as a hockey player. "Always a B level player" as he says. He was always happy that a few people gave him the chance to prove himself. I think because of that he feels the need to really go overboard (to the point of being illogical) in his ability to absolve older, less talented vets of blame for mistakes that are obviously on them.

Somewhat understandable but extremely foolish.

I'm fine if no one on this team returns next year except for Bergeron, Marchand, and maybe Pastrnak.

Anyone who was in that room when they traded Seguin should be fired now! Including that idiot who said, "We're Champions, not babysitters"!
