A player like Ostapchuk who can bring a lot outside of offense is a rarer player to find who brings that AND can play the game.

Celebrini isn’t small or soft, and Will Smith is only 19 and will get stronger. Plus theres no guarantee Ostapchuk is anything valuable at the NHL level.

His production is low but he’s been on the 4th line a lot of the time and he’s been asked to play more of a physical / energy game.

San Jose must have valued Ostap very highly.

Ostapchuk is more valuable than the second and it's not even close.
