I have been watching football and played it for many years and I never saw that. If he misses that FG then it's a bad idea in retrospect

We get it, it irks you for some odd reason more than most.
That last 2 minutes is the reason I would never watch football.

exactly. KC had no choice. Both teams played to win for 55 minutes. If KC gives the ball back to Hurts, odds are they score on their last drive too. Hurts was unstoppable. Terrific game management by Mahomes - even if it was anticlimactic.
