joe blanton? didn't the Dodgers release his ass a few years ago because he sucked balls, what a ****** bullpen, its going to be a long season

We can't hang with the Giants. Not right now, at least. Despite the fact that I want to physically hurt every Giant fan I see, I have to respect that their team is better than ours. Ugh.

We're scoring runs in San Francisco for once. Unfortunately we still can't hold leads against them no matter how big it seems.

If you're going to have someone play the national anthem on guitar, you get Slash . That was awful. Even Kobe was like, wow.

I remember when he was drafted. Got to watch his whole career. That's pretty mind blowing to me. It's gonna feel weird when Brown and Kopitar eventually retire too.

You mean traded here on draft day? Charlotte drafted Kobe with the intention of trading him for Vlade. Guess they had no clue what they were giving up when they made that trade. Jerry West was a friggin' mastermind.

Dropping 60 in his final game is really going out in style.

I just heard about this, honest question for anybody here but was it a case that this was like the Harlem Globetrotters and basically the other team let up and allowed him to score as the Lakers passed him the ball at every chance?

Apparently, the Rams made a big splash in their return to LA, and thus have traded for the #1 pick overall, in this year's draft (Wentz).

Haven't they learned anything from the benefits they've received in trading away their first overall pick to WSH few years ago???

Who knows, maybe in a couple of years, I'll be happy that we've traded for Wentz. But as of now, I hate, HATE, this friggin trade. I was soooooo, looking forward to this year's draft, but now that practically all of our picks are gone...Bleh!

Yeah, don't think that is going to end well for the Rams. Risking a lot when you're not going to be getting what's supposed to be a sure thing.

Not the case at all. The Jazz were playing defence. The refs swallowed their whistles a bit when it came to screens, but other than that nothing was handed to him. The rest of the Lakers just wanted Kobe to score, so he took 50 FG attempts.

Apologies for intruding from the Avs board but Kobe is my favourite athlete of all time. They don't exactly have a very high opinion of him in Denver and on the Colorado board, but I got to grow up with the guy since I was 6 years old and watch him win 5 championships. Yesterday was so bittersweet, I almost had tears watching the comeback one final time.
