Nuggets are playing like dogshit and holy f*** these refs

Jokic getting mugged for 5 seconds by 3 players and no call, then giannis gets a shitload of FTA with 11+ seconds to shoot every f***ing time

Don't have the numbers but I'm willing to bet Reggie Jackson and Jamal Murray out there together have hideous metrics.

Dude should not have a max deal. We could still have Bruce if he hadn't been given that insane contract.
MPJ is a much better player though. He has the max contract because the Nuggets had no other options than paying him. That's just the business of the NBA.

It's always funny how MPJ always get the blame when the team plays like shit. He's having a bad game but how can people not see how valuable he was when he missed last game (his 1st missed game all year).

Nugs will be fine, don't forget they had a losing road record last season. Just rest Murray and KCP against the Kings and get it together after the break.

All three of the Nugs, Avs, and Mammoth are on losing streaks now. Need them to turn it around soon, because we all know the Rockies ain't gonna save us.

When I’ve watched the Nuggets recently it’s been kinda sloppy imo - they are not playing defense at all in the first 3 qtrs and then they seem to tune in at the end. I don’t know if home court advantage matters much at all to them or not but they’re still gonna be fine come playoff time.

Not been a great week or so to be a Denver sports fan. Chiefs win their third Super Bowl in five years, and the second of a back-to-back, Nuggets slumping badly right before the All-Star break, Avalanche slumping badly right after the All-Star break, the Rapids look irrelevant before the MLS season is set to begin, and baseball is right around the corner.

I don't even watch basketball and I know this is a bull shit lie.
Only other explanation is that the Nuggets had an intervention meeting with him to play defense/pass the ball and he refused. Whatever the story was, I’m still glad he was shipped out and that his #15 is goin to the rafters with someone else’s name sewn on it. Karma came through on this one.

It kind of went under the radar but the Broncos just hired Pete Carmichael from the Saints. He’s basically Payton’s right hand man on offense (at least historically). Mike Klis tweeted out that the hiring could lead to Taysom Hill coming to the Broncos. I don’t usually think much of Klis’s tweets because they’re usually pretty vanilla but this is an actual juicy one. Klis doesn’t usually toss stuff out of left park and most of the time his info is so bland that I think it comes from the Broncos themselves….But Hill’s deal apparently has two years left at $10M and none of it is guaranteed. Apparently the Saints are in a pretty bad spot as well cap wise…..will be interesting to see what happens. A rookie QB and Taysom or even Taysom and Stidham?

I don’t think there’s anything that Russell Wilson is doing at $250M that Taysom couldn’t do at like $5M. Taysom might run for his life a little faster than Russ does. That’s about half of our offensive plays.
