The game was lost the second Payton didn't go for 2 in regulation.
Everyone knows OT favors the better team and the home team. Of which Cinny is both.
Yeah it's garbage, so small, and slow.We need a new Ralphie, this one is Dorrell level recruit.
The games have been lost by Paytons obsession with these damn screens. It's infuriating watching 10 screens a game where most of them don't work. The game was lost the second Payton didn't go for 2 in regulation.

BYU was just inconsistent all year. Some games they looked like the version of last night and some games they just didn’t even show up at all.I didn't watch any CU games this year, was BYU that good or did CU just choke?
Either way the ESPN commentators tonight were atrocious. Couldn't stop talking about how great CU was when they were down by 30. Embarrassing
I think 2 things he’s not a fast processor, and can’t read defensesI feel bad for whoever drafts Shedeur, guy will completely bust at the NFL level. Simply can't make on time plays.
Nix is a super inconsistent passer. I wonder how much of that is why we see so many screens. I’m not married to that being the reason thoughThe games have been lost by Paytons obsession with these damn screens. It's infuriating watching 10 screens a game where most of them don't work.

Could have swore someone was saying he couldn't throw a long ball earlier in the year...Bo looked way better throwing long bombs than those short routes. I say just stretch the damned field and let him go off. I get that he also missed a few of those by a smidge but when he connected, wow. That way he just dropped it right in the back corner of the end zone to Sutton was a thing of beauty.
Deserves to miss? This is ridiculous. They are being forced to win a tough game to get in, shouldn't it be that way? This narrative about how they should have won the last two games is so false. They played two good teams on the road and had a shot to win. That's the progress you need to see. And no matter who the Chiefs line up it's still good for the development of the team, have to handle the pressure of must win games. Yeah it would have been nice to already be in but this is just more growth happening.LMAO. I didn't see that but holy f***. Like seriously, you're trying to blank a team with Joe Burrow for 10 minutes to get into the playoffs instead of getting the two point conversion.
This team deserves to miss the playoffs. Sean Payton is a problem.
During the broadcast, they also said he has the most passing yards while throwing on the run. Peyton really needs to incorporate more roll outs and less screens later in games. I know you can't completely abandon the screen plays, or they'll blitz you to death, but they gotta find a better balance.Bo looked way better throwing long bombs than those short routes. Whatever brings more Mims, less Franklin, I’m down with that.During the broadcast, they also said he has the most passing yards while throwing on the run. Also, please more Mims in motion plays. His speed makes him a threat every play.
Also agree with that. He missed some super easy passes late in the game as well.Nix is a super inconsistent passer. I wonder how much of that is why we see so many screens. I’m not married to that being the reason though
I mean he missed Mims and Sutton twice at the end of the game on deep passes where they were wide open. He’s looked decent this year, but his deep ball is inconsistent at best currently.Could have swore someone was saying he couldn't throw a long ball earlier in the year...
I mean as frustrating as the last two weeks have been, if you showed me Nix's stats for the year and told me the Broncos would be fighting for a playoff spot I'd be thrilled. Also agree with that. He missed some super easy passes late in the game as well.

Like I said, he’s been good this year. But I think his deep ball is still a bit of a weakness of his.I mean as frustrating as the last two weeks have been, if you showed me Nix's stats for the year and told me the Broncos would be fighting for a playoff spot I'd be thrilled.
Can't render a final verdict on any QB draftee after one season. Look at Stroud regressing this year, but he's answered the call so far.Nix's EPA per drop back is still putrid so I'm still needing to see more out of him in order to annoint him Denver's long term QB.
However, I will say the kid does look like a gamer. He seems to thrive in comeback situations.
It's 100% this, can't throw on time doesn't process the defenses/blitz packages fast enough.I think 2 things he’s not a fast processor, and can’t read defenses

Correct. I had the Broncos finishing between 6-11 and 8-9 prior to the season.I mean as frustrating as the last two weeks have been, if you showed me Nix's stats for the year and told me the Broncos would be fighting for a playoff spot I'd be thrilled.
Utter blasphemy. Can't render a final verdict on any QB draftee after one season.
Two games. Just to be safe.Correct. I had the Broncos finishing between 6-11 and 8-9 prior to the season.
Utter blasphemy.
Final verdicts can - and were - rendered after Nix's first game.
Pay attention, sir.
Might be? No they definitely are.NFL OT rules might be worse than 3v3
Well said.Deserves to miss? This is ridiculous. They are being forced to win a tough game to get in, shouldn't it be that way? We played a good football yesterday that's got the best WR in the game AND several TE threats that we don't even come close to having AND they needed OT to beat us at home. Not sure what people are expecting of Nix but it certainly doesn't sound realistic to me.
