Not a good night overall for Nix, but he did have two great drives. All rookies struggle in the playoffs, I hope not too many people forget that, if we get there. Only 12 rookies in the history of the NFL has ever won their first playoff game and only 3 have won their first two (Flacco, Sanchez(lol) and Purdy) and none have won 3.

Just making the playoffs is massive for this dead cap space team

Fair point but I think those are on poor play calling by Payton. Both coordinators had poor play calls but a few guys stepped up to save the win. Would have really sucked going into a bye with a loss. And wow that was the ultimate Winston game, I mean if you suck might as well be fun to watch.

That was legit fun game. Both teams had good and bad. But it was entertaining as f***. Did not have 29 making the game winning pick 6 on the bingo card after him getting torched for 200+ yards the rest of the night.
McMillan #29 wasn't the guy getting torched. That was Wallace #39.

So in a perfect scenario who would be the ideal playoff opponent?
Right now we're playing the Bills. That would be the biggest nightmare scenario other than the Raven again. I'd like to face the chargers, but I don't think that's possible. The Steelers have TJ Watt, and he abused us last time..... The Texans might be the path of least resistance for us.

Houston?
Best we can hope for probably is the Steelers. Tough game but more winnable than Bills or Ravens. I guess Chiefs would be a good matchup for us but who are we kidding, no one is beating them and the refs in the first round with how much ratings they drive.

Yeah I was thinking chargers too, how about best upset? Bills or revenge against Ravens?

There is no way to play Chargers round 1 unless the Chiefs implode. Then again if Chiefs lost the games they should have lost it could happen. Actually I think Chargers are tougher team to beat but we could hold out hope they Charger it again. To me the best matchup for the Broncos is a team without a mobile QB who will run for firsts one third down. Unfortunately all the top teams in the AFC have one except the Steelers.

BTW how do you get a good quality Broncos jersey? I thought NHL jerseys were bad but the NFL ones are horrendous in quality. $200 for basically a Tshirt with a screenprinted name and number.

every once in a while I have found some decent ones at Target. Not the "official" kind but pretty close.
