He got happy feet...poor base led to inaccurate passes. The real issue is the run game.....it was awful against an awful run defense. That is killing us and forcing Bo to carry the load. Lucky win to be sure, but payback for the KC debacle.

Well yeah. He's a rookie playing his first ball game that actually meant something. Of course the moment is going to get to him. All rookies struggle there, outside of a few odd balls.
I think there were definitely a couple of players who screwed up large on the INTs. LJH seemed to screw up on the first one, I didn't see him in the game after that... I think he got benched from that moment on but I'm not 100% sure.

Sutton seemed to screw up on #2 but that was still throwing into double coverage...so, not great. I think the 3rd one was all on Nix.

Awful? It was non-existent.

What's Latavius Murray up to? Lol

They haven't even given Estime a fair shot yet.

1st INT either a bad read or LJH ran the wrong route. Tough to say.

2nd INT is on Sutton ran the route 5 yards short. Nix was under high pressure and is throwing to a spot. That's why we saw Payton laying into Sutton.

3rd INT fully on Nix. Bad footwork, telegraphed it, and tried to guide it in.

It felt like Javonte was benched and they gave Estime his carries yesterday. I'm sure Payton will talk about the committee and going with the hot hand but if what they have done with other vets is any indication they might have Javonte down the depth chart to let the young guys get the reps. We will see how Jaleel is, he's really the #1 when healthy and looked ok out there despite the lack of run blocking.

They were only giving him some carries because mclaughlin got hurt.

Nugs and Avs both have a game at basically the same time tonight, then two days off, then on Thursday both squads are playing again AND the Broncos are playing.

Christian Braun will miss the first game of his career due to injury tonight with back spasms. He only played 76 games his rookie year, but he was active for all of them and Malone simply didn't put him in for the remaining 6. And he played in every regular season and playoff game last year.

Nugs have called up Spencer Jones from Grand Rapids to replace him, but Jones likely won't play.

Was Braun holding this team back?

I was about to say, the Nuggets have one of the easiest schedules rest of the way, but then remembered they lost to the Wizards.

That might have been one of the most entertaining final two minutes of an NBA game I have watched in some time. For once the idea you only have to watch the end of the game was right.

Joker and Murray went vintage 2 man game to pull the win out of their asses out there in the clutch.

Still, that was an absolutely putrid coaching performance from Malone. The effort and focus on this squad has been ridiculously inconsistent for over a year now.

I think I said it already but it would be crazy if both Michael Malone and Jared Bednar get fired in the same season they both secure pretty much every coaching record in their respective franchises’ histories. And if things continue to trend they way they’re going, it very well could happen.

Malone doesn't have 50 guys on IR. I'd fire him ten times over before I considered firing Bednar.

Well, I’m definitely nowhere near the Fire Bednar bandwagon yet, but I’ll admit some things Malone did last year and didn’t appear to learn from this year are really grating on me.

His entire career is simply standing nearby while Jokic does great things.

Terrible schedule but given the stakes and how they’ve all played, feels like the Broncos made this an easy decision who to watch Thursday

Also happy to see PS2 and Bonitto are in the top 3 favourites for DPOY. If TJ Watt is injured, we might finally see a Bronco win after feeling like Miller came so close so many times

Can the broncos trade their upcoming 1st rounder to Chicago for their two 2nds. Picking 36th 40th and 54th looks pretty good, WR, RB and TE. I'm starting to watch some highlights of Ollie Gordon II

I mean, the Bears hired Matt Eberflus to be their head coach and he was hands down the worst HC in football, he may have been even more incompetent than Nathaniel Hackett, if that's even possible.

If one of the top TEs isn’t there I really hope the Broncos do trade back. There’s a lot of quality RBs that are going to go in the 2nd to 4th round of this draft. Maybe trade off a 4th rounder too in order to get a vet TE.

I think the Broncos will finally be in a position to trade some mid rounders off to get veteran dump offs from other teams that could come in and help Bo.

I feel like he deserves a little more credit than that for getting as much out of Porter as he has, dude went from being a ridiculously one-dimensional and wildly inconsistent shooter made of styrofoam to a more complete and wildly inconsistent player made of something slightly more durable. Of course he's fallen back off, so...:dunno:

Other players like Braun have developed well under his watch, though I really did not like how he just threw P-Wat in the bag late last season and didn't use him at all in the playoffs.

Malone seems to definitely be the type to find something that works and then go to the well with it 50x a game. I'm kind of on the fence if he's actually a decent coach or not. I definitely am not a fan of how short he keeps his bench.

I dunno, he is, at least in terms of accomplishments, the greatest Nuggets Coach of All Time. Admittedly that isn't a terribly long list. It's basically Michael Malone, Doug Moe, Larry Brown, George Karl, and then we're getting into Dan Issel, Jeff Bzdelik, and a whole slew of utter crap (no offense to poor Bill Hanzlik, that wasn't his fault). The very bottom of that list is Michael Cooper and Bernie Bickerstaff.

That said, I'll say of both Malone and Bednar, if it's time to move on, then it's time. Again, NOT calling for either guy's head, but the coaching is really starting to become a bit of an issue with both of them.
