While he didn't look amazing against the Steelers in the wild card round, he looks like a very serviceable and athletic player. I think he'd be a fine fit in this scheme.

The Bengals don't have much incentive to trade McCarron to a potential playoff opponent with a resolved Quarterback situation and instead are better off hoping the hole drags the Broncos down.

Well, he got benched for Blaine Gabbert this year.

So, literally anybody with a pulse.

Probably Siemian.

Not a fan of the Kaepernick option...but it could be worse.

They could get Hoyer as their new Starting QB.

I'd take captain concussion (Hoyer) over Kaepernick. Easily. At least Hoyer is intelligent and accurate. He's a scrub, but he's not aggressively terrible like Kaepernick.

CJ is another one of those guys that I don't have any prob chasing money. Low draft pick, got a ring, still young - go make some $$$.

I think Kubiak can find a RB replacement anyhow.

Still worried about the QB position but I'd rather have a rookie than anyone on the market right now. I wouldn't trade a #1, #2, or a #3 for ANY of the QB's. Elway has built himself tenure now with a SB ring. He doesn't need to reach like some of these other organizations. The fans are not going to revolt against John Elway.

I think Elway's earned the benefit of the doubt. Not putting a priority on re-signing CJ is probably my least favorite of all these moves people are questioning, but I think there will be options to replace him in FA and the draft, so we'll see how it goes.

Sounds like there's a lot of wheels in motion on acquiring Kaepernick, and it'll be fun to see all the meltdowns in Bronco country if that comes to pass. But he has more big game experience than any other viable QB option out there (including, by a wide margin, Brock, when he was an option). He's also reportedly willing to restructure his deal if the Broncos acquire him.... if he can be snagged for reasonable compensation I don't see it as a worse scenario than paying $18 million per to Brock.

Watching Peyton's corpse win the SB with ya probably has Elway thinking that if worst comes to worst, he can come back for a season and not lose the game for that defense.

While the Broncos try to close the Kaepernick trade, they're formulating backup plans. Have been in touch with agent for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Don't Fitzpatrick and Brock have the same agent? That would be a hell of a master plan on his part to pull that scheme off.
