It's been known his kids want to divest from Sox

But selling to a group that's motive appears on surface to move team will destroy his legacy and hopefully the Bulls who his kids want to retain will suffer backlash

If MLB allows White Sox to be relocated I will stop watching baseball

It's the same tired ass playbook as last time. He's trying to get leverage to fund his new stadium with taxpayer dollars. Difference is, this time, nobody gives a f*** if the team leaves.

Disagree

This time Jerry is elderly and lets be honest who knows how much longer he will be alive

He knows his kids are going to sell Sox so he may just go ahead and do it now

He's not selling and paying taxes on the sale. He has said this repeatedly. That's the bottom line. His #1 driving motivation is greed.

I can’t blame him for that, it would be a dumb decision for an 88 year old.

Dodgers/Yankees World Series?

I know that this matchup is a wet dream turn reality for MLB but that is a hard no from me. Not even remotely interested in this year's World Series.

Meh, won't watch an out of that matchup, but guess I'm hoping the Yankees lose more.

And while I have zero expectations for the Illini to march into Eugene and get a win, having three victories against ranked opponents and being bowl eligible already after seven game is absolutely insane. Damn fun season so far.

We back, baby. Just hope the team keeps it up and Bielema doesn't get poached.

The teams in the WS are easy to hate but if you look past that, it has to be one of the most talent-rich matchups in recent memory. Should be very good baseball and the only downside is that one of these teams has to win.
I agree. Just because it is the "most talent rich match up in recent memory" does not mean it is an interesting match up to me. I'm sure a lot of people will watch the Series but I will not be one them.

I'm with you. Games 1 and 2 are on Friday and Saturday night so there is no chance I watch either of those. Game 3 overlaps with a Hawks game, so again, won't be watching that game either.

Maybe by game 4 if I hear it is an amazing series, I might then turn it on... but honestly even then I'd probably opt for a good NHL matchup if there is one.

I like Rodon and Kopech. It'll be cool to see at least one of the ex White Sox get a ring at least. Preferably Rodon only because I've met him once personally. Cool guy.

I definitely enjoyed rodon here but kopech not so much. Don’t hate the guy or anything just never really bought the hype for some reason or have any fond memories there.

Yea plus I've heard Kopech isn't exactly one of the nicest guys either. But happy for him that he's found success in LA.
