The Cubs entered the month of May with a record of 18-12, and they are now 28-29. So a record of 10-17 over the month of May with a game to go.

They were 0.5 games back to start the month in second place. They are now 5.5 games back and in third place behind the Brewers and Cardinals.

Cubs were actually 24-17 after May 12. They have lost 12 of 16 since then. An regression was always coming, but man... brutal.

Horrible team all the way around. Hitting, pitching, IQ. Bad baseball team.

Honestly, there is something that hurts less when your team just straight up sucks. Take it from me, an Illinois football fan. You just get to accept your fate and move on.

I moved on early this baseball season. As soon as Robert, Jimenez, and Moncada got hurt... AGAIN, I was done watching. Don't think I've seen more than an inning or two total since like the beginning of April.

This is more or less what I mean. You can just stop paying attention. Until the Cubs are clearly out of the race for anything, my little brain just won't let me go away for good.

Still sucks, because there's no sports worth me watching once the NHL POs end. Need to wait it out for the Olympics late in the summer.

Team sucks. Ownership is content with a packed Wrigley. There is zero excuse to not win the north considering all the other teams. It’s a joke.

I am beginning to question if Counsell was the right man for the job or the Cubs should have just stay with Ross.

Other than getting thrown out on the bases and fake rallies, is there ANYTHING the Cubs are good at?
