Like the Cubs and White Sox shouldn't have similar payrolls. It's embarrassing both aren't in the top ten. The Cubs reloaded correctly. It's still a joke both aren't major players.

Jordan has been an absolute disaster in management and ownership role.

Makes post Bulls performance look like Lakers in comparison to the teams Jordan has managed/owned.

Anyone who believes Jerry should have surrendered major part of ownership and control of team to MJ needs head examined

Because the Bulls have been such a well run team.

Jordan is a bad owner. No doubt. Krause is and has been a clown. JR is a trash owner. Expect better.

Insane this needs to be said. JR is STILL one of the worst owners in sports, even with the Jordan years. He got lucky, just like he got lucky in 2005 with that team and their magic. His teams have been the worst major market teams in all of sports over the last 20 years, outside of the Bears.

P.S. He's also one of the key pieces of shit responsible for a lost baseball season... lest we forget.

Forget the last 7 days.

This allegedly talented offense/lineup has been an EMPHATIC disappointment since the beginning of 2022.

But as bad as they are….the pitching has been/gotten even worse.

The offense. The pitching. The defense. The fundamentals. The manager. The GM. The athletic trainers. The farm system. The ownership. The brand.

ITS ALL GARBAGE!

He may not be the greatest owner, but he is far from some POS whose death should be celebrated.

JR has done nothing to warrant that type of view

Also the White Sox may well not have been here if not for Jerry. Veeck openly was trying to sell team to parties who planned to move team

DeBartalo sale was blocked because of his reported ties to gambling but he had other potential suitors if Reinsdorf/Einhorn had not bid on club as local ownership group intent on keeping team in Chicago

Interesting…but I disagree I think he’s been a bad owner.
 
At this point, I hope they lose 100+ and fire everybody.

But knowing them, they'll make a run in July, get back within 5 to get everyone's hopes up, then fizzle down the stretch.

Cubs pitching staff enjoying having an actual catcher behind the plate. Contreras might be my least favorite "loved" Cub. I didn't like his on field antics and I always felt his catching was REALLY bad.
 
It’s a shame that Luis Robert has shown absolutely zero signs of improvement over the course of 3-4 years.

He’s still the same wildly inconsistent player he was as a rookie. With mixes of hot streaks and long cold spells. Overall he’s failed to develop into the elite hitter he was supposed to become. Just like Eloy. Just like Moncada.

Then you look at the 2 starters Giolito and Kopech…..2 more examples of failed development/guys that never panned out or reached their potential(Giolito did for one season, that’s it).

If you take just those 5 players and somehow magically snap a finger and they all reach their potential/become elite(like they were supposed to), that alone would probably be enough to move the needle and make the Sox competitive.

Basically the entire young core of this team outside of Dylan Cease has failed to materialize. They never became the players they were supposed to be by this point. A HUGE knock on the white Sox organization as a whole. Major league ineptitude.

JR is a stain on Chicago sports. This city has dealt with terrible owners far too long. The market is way too big to not be more successful. Krause is a bozo and so is JR.

Jordan being a terrible owner/pres isn't even being talked about. That is a deflection.

Krause built 6 championship teams and was guy who made decision to fire Collins for Jackson against the wishes of MJ

If no Krause the Bulls dynasty never happens

Sox lose 8-0 to Jays

The always a loser Kopech now at over 7 ERA. Man, that Sale trade was a god damn trainwreck.

Sox fall to 7-18 and have a 4-game series with TB coming followed by a 3-game series vs Twins

7-25 is not out or realm of possibility
 
Swept and outscored 20-2 in TOR.

Now officially among the worst records and run differential in the entire MLB.

There’s a good chance Hahn loses his job this week, as well as Grifol(or whoever this “manager” is), and then the new “rebuild” begins at the TDL.

It’s gotten ugly enough now to force some firings. It’s happening.

If either are let go I'd be surprised if it happens before the end of the year.
 
Back to the White Sox, there's some deep rooted rot in this organization. I've never seen so many players underperforming in my life. It's like every single player is miserable, and just doesn't want to be here. It's insane. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if a brawl broke out, just in the Sox dugout.
