Yes, that is true. I think there was one game where he lost 2-1 while pitching 8 innings of 1 ER ball and also had the RBI double.
Looking again at the stats I posted, just so many things blow your mind.
23 starts with 0 ER, yet only 11 wins.
26 starts with 1 ER, 9-5 record
17 starts with 2 ER, 5-7 record
84 starts the last 4 years and he has allowed 0 or 1 run in 49 of them and his overall record is 27-21
All of those stats would by themselves be remarkable and worthy of discussion, when it happens to one guy its mind boggling. If this guy had been a Dodger (or frankly any other team) he probably has 30-40 more wins over the last 3-4 years and combined with his strike-out and other metrics is basically seen as the pitching version of Trout by the casual fans. I wasn't sure how long it would take to see anyone as good as Pedro was in the late 90's, but I think he is just as dominant over this 4 year run as Pedro was in his prime.

Dodgers are on a pretty steep slide right now. May out for the season. No idea when Bellinger is to return. Almost everyone is cold. Pitching is pretty solid, but they still don't have a closer because Knebel is out long term and Jansen looks weak. A lot is going wrong right now.

I don't think having 2 soccer teams at the front is disincentivizing people from posting about the lakers, dodgers or the Rams, I obviously did it as a joke and its still very much an LA Sports thread and not a soccer thread. I'll get rid of LAFC because I know no one on this forum gives a shit about them as does most of LA
