You know who else is terrible? Hernandez. Give me bellinger any day of the week over 3 for 35 Hernandez.

That's the worst use of hindsight you could possibly have. Bellinger is 12% worse than league average offensively versus lefties. Hernandez is 13% better than league average offensively against lefties.

Some of you seem to forget that Bellinger is 5 for 39 this postseason (and Hernandez is 3 for 32, not 35, btw). He and Hernandez are effectively hitting the same. Factor in Bellinger's inability to hit lefties, and it's pretty clear why he's not starting.

With the 2-3 format I think the coaches go into super over coaching mode. Now you have 3 at Dodger Stadium, games starting at 8PM for the Red Sox time zone, warm weather and the pitcher hits. I think that favors the Dodgers and I think Buehler just might be better than Kershaw right now.

You are just as bad as Dodger management relying solely on stats (I'm not trying to insult here please dont take it that way). Its not hindsight if everyone is calling it out before the game started and before Madson was even in the game. Hernandez is in an obvious slump. Bellinger had good swings in game 1 and obvious had clutch hits in the nlcs. Runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out and Hernandez strikes out. Shocker.

Madson who in game 1 said he couldn't get loose in game one was thrown right back out there in game 2. He then walks the first batter he sees and isnt pulled. Then in game 1 Baez getting pulled for wood who is also struggling.

Stats are extremely useful if used right. However, baseball is much deeper that just analytics. Hot and cold streaks happen all of the time. Especially after game 1, neither Hernandez nor madson should have been in game 2 period.

With how deep this team is, dave Robert's imo is one of the worst managers I've seen in managing player usage.

If Kershaw cant regain his velocity on his fastball back up to 95 (currently 88 to 91) then he will not be as dominate as in the past especially against high contact teams. It doesn't sound like much but at that speed it's much easier for hitters to almost look breaking ball and still have time to react to fastball.

It is concerning that he has lost his velocity considering that he is only 30 and he never had that much workload to begin with. He was managed well in his younger days

He got completely derailed by a bad back. It's never fully gotten better. You can tell it still bothers him.
