When they have confidence they're world beaters like no other team in the league, but the moment they get doubt, they're no better than the Orioles. it's so often a self fulfilling prophecy for them. Hopefully Ryu can come out on fire in Washington and give these guys a boost.

You have to wonder if they will do something major this offseason if they were to lose this series (or the next one). Eventually you have to maybe come to the realization that the group you have just isn't going to get it done in the postseason. You run the risk of becoming the Utah Jazz, Buffalo Bills and SJ Sharks.

Ok? That fact has existed since before this series. None of the Cardinals/Braves/Yankees have a starting three trio like Scherzer/Strasburg/Corbin. Only the Astros are comparable in that regard.

Racked up a lot of pitches. Couldn't seem to find the strikezone in the 4th. Pretty much a normal Roberts move though.

Hill was pulled because he was only slated to throw 60 pitches after trying to recover from his knee strain in September. He was at 58 when he was pulled.
