How do these trades go down?

From what I understand Professional Lax players usually still work a full time job.

You get traded you're kinda screwed?

Between the Bandits' offense being MIA, the Great Value Howard Cosell play-by-play guy and the eye-searing neon green turf, this game has not been easy to watch so far.

There was a guy back in the early years of the Bandits (Kevin Alexander) who would fly in for game days and then just go home to Vancouver. He was a faceoff specialist and IIRC the team footed the bill for his flights.

There are enough of these guys in other leagues that it's more of a multiple paycheck thing - NLL league average is about $85K, PLL is something like $28K but not for a full year of work so guys are able to double dip. Then there are folks like Belter who is a college coach and a player or a guy like Dan Dawson who when not at games in Buffalo is a Canadian firefighter. I doubt most of the guys working other jobs are in traditional 9-5, clock punching scenarios.
