First time in NFL history that a game has had a final score of 31-5. According to @GiveAFlyingPuck, this means the Coyotes are going to lose to the Panthers tomorrow and the Lightning on Thursday (mercifully for the Coyotes, the next Cardinals game is the Thursday night game).
 
AJ Green has been in the league 10 years and didn't even look for the ball :eek:

It might be like the Blackhawks case where the investigators are now getting into the little details and the actual report will get out sometime in January.

Some random podcaster leaked the early details. I don't see how ESPN is responsible for that or why they have to work on a timeline. All that matters is getting the story right.

After today's win against the 49ers, I'm struggling a bit with mindset. Being a lifelong Arizona sports fan has probably given me borderline Stockholm syndrome, or just a pessimistic view. My instinctive reaction to beating the 49ers today was to think, "Haha you just lost to the Cardinals because you're just that bad," which implies that the Cardinals may be bad, but the 49ers are even worse. Maybe, just maybe... should I be thinking, more like, "we beat the 49ers in spite of Murray and Hopkins being out, because... we're... just... actually that good? And deep?"

It's a very strange concept to even try to think that way. We usually suck, what is this? I don't think I really know how to handle it.
 
I'm almost glad that game happened. 16-1 was never a realistic goal. 15-2 isn't either. I'd still be ecstatic with something like 12-5.

Still, though... did it have to be against the Panthers? The f***ing Panthers? Ugh.

Yeah, when I saw Newton take off his helmet and scream at the crowd after scoring a 1-yard touchdown, a major reason that I prefer hockey over football was made crystal clear. Them hockey players... they have no personality. Why are they so dull?

Also, not a fan of the way Kyler Murray is handling himself on the sideline. Most injured starters encourage their backups, and are excited when they do something well. In every cut to Murray, he didn't seem to care.
