My bread and butter is math and science, specifically computer science.

I strongly dislike literature, but I like and have respect for philosophy. Without it, there would have been no critical thinking to lead to the creation of math and science. The term PhD bears significance.

Yeah, but I was always told a BA is a joke really. So I'm stuck, if you think about it. Disappointment in myself for not going after what I want to do in life or no job because I probably won't get a decent one at all if I do what I want to.
So you were looking to have a BS to seperate yourself from the rest of the Psychology majors?

I agree with you in regards to Philosophy. I've always felt that it was one of the few subjects that formed the building blocks of modern society.

A few years ago I really began taking an interest in the subject and I try to fill my elective slots with Philosophy courses.

Well no. I took BS because it'd probably be more significant when job hunting because the others in my family are math nerds like crazy. They laugh at my literary skill and say it's nothing to be proud of or to pursue. I took a BS because it shut them up about how unsuccessful I'll be because I'm no architect or chemical scientist or a biochemist, etc. But I know I'm not going to excel because of how much advanced math and science I'll end up having to do.

Love Astrophysics. Quantum mechanics is my favorite subject. I can't get enough. lol And no, I'm not being sarcastic. Brian Greene is one of my all time favorite physicists, I can listen to him all day.

I love to write. I find that leaking the contents of my head out onto something more tangible, like a piece of paper, gives me another perspective rather than just thinking about it.

Why is my little brother so stupid? He wanted to stay after school to play floor hockey. Texted me to ask if our neighbor could pick him up, neighbor didn't reply, so I told him to get on the bus and get home. Obviously being the stubborn 11 year old that he is, he decided to stay after, even though I told him 3X to go home. I don't have my license yet, and he apparently has no friends who could drive him home. And living in the suburbs, with no form of public transportation, and everything being too far away to walk, we just had to spend $30 on a taxi so that the little brat could get home. And then he yells at me when we get home. Priceless!
I wish you could speed up little children's mental progression from age 5 to age 16 or something.

My brother's 15 and still acts like that. He also challenges me in everything. Like today for instance, he came in and I'm at the island counter eating a sandwich. He walks up to me and gives me some stupid idiot look and tells me not to mess with him or else I'll die in my sleep. Absurd **** he says happens every day. He thinks he's apparently the boss of the house. He's also obnoxious too. it stays for a looooooooooooooooooong time.

 More proof that kids act the same way for a LONG time. I mean, elementary school kids throw snowballs and silly string at each other. "Older," and "more mature" high school kids do the exact same things.

I'm 18, but still. I didn't go around making threats and giving everyone the stink eye. Or talk about gross stuff.

I guess when you get older, you think you're cool because you can get fake ID's and drink? IDK. Reminds me of 5th graders thinking they're cool because they get to sit in the back of the bus.

Sounds like something you'd say. Guess it runs in the family
