How's this for irony my boss of 5 years, trusted a dude I didn't get along with and didn't hire me for this summer. My old boss who heard that I wasn't hired told me to apply to his camp and when they hired me they doubled my salary in comparison to what I woulda made this year.... Not getting hired was awesome haha

Going back to the old thread, what I absolutely love about himym is the idea that everything you do and are doing right now ultimately is part of destiny and your fate to find "the one". It a nice idea.

Me sitting on this couch meets this criteria? Sweet.

It's a nice idea, but it isn't grounded in reality.

Congratulations!
That just goes to show you that in the working world knowing the right people means (almost) everything.

I kinda beliave in fate tho. I know all relationships start somewhere, but my last one had too many variables to "just have happened". Call me crazy haha

I'd like to move to New York. Not very feasible at this moment in time though.

Speaking of love in the air, on my way to lunch, I walked by a guy (20) with flowers walking toward a girl. As I approached, he started yelling at her and started screaming in sheer agony. He threw the flower at her feet and started to scream even louder and in a language that I don't understand. At this point he blurted out "How could you?" And she started walking away and turned around and said "it's not my fault, you weren't here." And he screams again and says "FOR TWO WEEKS!". He throws his backpack at the large tree and starts screaming again and she's walking away. He then starts to threaten self harm and starts hitting his head on the tree, pretty fiercely and screams some more. She stops at the intersection and turns around and just stands there. After he couldn't hit his head anymore, he went behind the tree cus I think he saw me and another guy watching and curls up and starts crying.

Love hurts.
