Processed and fast food...

And Computers/Internet... People sitting on their fat asses all week...

I'm not perfect, but I am aware of these real things and work at eating properly... taking the right supplements/vitamins ... and moderate exercise...

Moderate being 30 minute brisk walks every second day... treadmill right now... outside soon, hopefully...

Not preaching... just trying...

I worked with a guy from Ukraine a couple of years ago, a soldier who was in the war starting in 2014, became good friends. When he got called back for duty, I gave him my Canadian flag to take with him. Which he proudly displayed in his barracks.

I feel bad for all the people who have passed away in this war, and now with one change in government, it looks dubious. Like there are 3 empires in the world competing and collaborating to grow, and everyone else is collateral damage. I don't know how Ukraine will recover if the U.S takes away all their resources. On top of forcing them to cede territory.

Canada won't lose their sovereignty, but the fallout from Trump's policies will be heavy.

Not a great time in the world.

Laptop, I know all the good sites haha. Successfully never paid for cable Internet since I moved out when I was 17 only thing that sucks is not having the interface to see what's new. @Gm0ney I watched that ex machina movie, very goodand slightly disturbing.. only a few years off from that.

There's some famous quote that I was unable to find. But the gist is that freedom and democracy is never something we can become passive or placated about. You can't take it for granted. The opposite - people will try to take it from you. This is the natural order of things. It is always a struggle.

Look for the good to stay sane and inspired. Look at how Canadians of all stripes, from Conservatives to Liberals are banding together with a heightened sense of patriotism. Look at how countries that support Ukraine are having to band together and forge a new strength of their convictions.
