OT Thread Part X: No One Here Sleeps

you killed the OT Thread MPF. You killed it. A paragraph like that requires at least 4 people to devour. We need to work in a pack. There's only SFW and JCresty. We can't do this alone.

Come on. Stalled perhaps, but killed is a hefty accusation to toss around.

But I didn't mean to. Swiss struck a chord and I've been really melancholy and nostalgic about the trips to the cabin. We haven't done it in 2 years (this will be the third) and there is nothing I would like more this winter than to be able to, but his family no longer owns the house.

Writing a book or two is absolutely near the top of my bucket list. In high school I wanted to major in English, become an English teacher/professor and hopefully get published and that would be that. I did major in English at first, but the way that English majors study literature was ruining the entire allure of writing and reading for me in the first place so I directionlessly tried my hand at several other majors before just graduating with whatever the last thing I'd declared as the field of study on my degree. Something like the book you proposed is actually genuinely an idea I've kicked around from time to time, but nerdishly enough, my intention was always for my first book to be my own, fully realized fantasy novel or series, along the lines of Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc.
 
Actually managed to get some decent sleep. Going to get myself a breakfast sandwich later. I'm actually excited.
 
So......every game I haven't attended thus far has resulted in a win and I plan on going to tomorrow night's game. Maybe I should sell my ticket? :dunno:

mehh... I still procrastinate and do nothing all day long on most days so I wouldn't say I've got any kind of handle on things :laugh:

Rolling out of bed, logging onto my laptop, launching a website and being at work sounds pretty awesome.

I prefer when the OT thread is a little quieter. It's more intimate and only for the hardcore bull****ters.
 
we apparently hit a tractor trailer with paint. some people in the front cars are coveted in paint. I'm okay, some others are hurt. I think we hit the back of the truck, so the driver of the truck should be okay.

The tank would lose depending on the train. :P if a P42 or P32DC/AC hits it, the train would be damaged as there is no frontal protection for stream lining. If say an ES44C or an SD70ACE hits it, the tank is now totaled. :laugh:

Every train number you wrote in the last couple posts could easily be replaced by Russian words and I doubt most people would have any less understanding.
 
Sitting in a new class for the first time. Oh God, cue social anxiety.
