Yeah, I feel old when going back to the 2007 series material. One of the most heartbreaking moments was when the Rangers lost to the Sabres in game 6. I was only 13 at the time and it was a sinking feeling.

At least it's much better than Game of Thrones, the excrutiatingly milking, neverending story where you get hints what might happen decades ahead. "Oh look, a dragon! So now we might see it do something substantial in season 17!" I can't stand authors who get paid by the number of pages they spew out, who wants 2500 characters and a book pile of the series that is bigger than their own ego.

At least Vikings isn't milking and doesn't have scenes with no intention or purpose other than to steal my time. Game of Thrones pilot episode: "Wow, there might be some big things happening in this series!"... *3 seasons later* "STILL nothing substantial has happened... just internal bickering."
