that's pretty dope.

Yeah.. it works out well. If I want to work a 4th day it's usually mad cash cause of the overtime and shift differential. And if I don't, I can bunch my days at the beginning of one week/end of the next and have like 7-8 days off without using vacation time. Plus I work with pretty much all females. Many of whom are 22-30 and pretty easy on the eyes.

I work for a 1800 flowers company so today is obviously one of our busy days (not as bad as Valentines Day/Mothers Day, those are 12-15 hr shifts). I posted this a few days ago but I just got my wisdom teeth out so these long shifts + the teeth have been brutal, plus sleeping is tough with this crap!

Another long day and then Christmas Eve with the GF and family in the Bronx. Always an eventful one!

A.) wouldn't actually brag about that. Modern medicine is great in many cases but big pharm is also interested in profit more than health and doctors do not have a holistic approach to health often and diagnose what is within their specialty while ignoring sometimes obvious possibilities that fall outside of their practice, thus the patient gets treatment for a symptom but never addresses and eliminates the underlying cause for their ailments.

Or as I like to say they "put a band aid on it".

Now I am also not totally against modern medicine, but you had better believe two things:

1- I am a big proponent of holistic medicine.

2- I never let my Physician do anything extraneous during a routine check up. "Oh you really need that flu shot!" No. No I don't. Any other suggestions I reply with "That sounds good, but lets revisit it six months".

Remember: There is no money to be made from healthy people. YOU are responsible for your own well being.

You younger guys would do well to learn and follow this advice as you get older.

I've watched Sportscenter 8 times today. Saw the Hobbit with my pops at 11:30 cuz I had nothing better to do. 'Twas quite enjoyable. Got home at 3, fed those four-legged creatures and have been doing nothing since.

I had surgery 2 summers ago and I swear I watched sports center all day, every day for about a week while recovering. Albert Pujols' 400th career HR is forever etched into my mind.
