It isn't though. It is something they are testing out in certain areas of the country but if this is a test kitchen maybe they would be in on it. Not a big deal though, its not for me, I love that sweet sweet barbacoa.

Yeah, you need to fix that immediately. My friends and I regularly trek down there from the Bronx just for Di Fara's. We waited an hour and a half last week and it was completely worth it.

The thing to keep in mind with Di Fara's is that the place isn't going to be serving food like this forever, that's why I encourage everyone to go there now. Once Dom goes, it's all over. I'm sure the family will try to continue the business but it won't be the same.
 
Benny Tudinos in Hoboken has HUGE slices. Always get them with the hot peppers.

True Detective is currently one of two shows I make time for. The other, Community.

The six-minute tracking shot at the end of episode 4 was a remarkable feat of TV cinematography. Direction has been top notch. And the show works on so many levels, it has a little bit of everything you might want. I'm dying to see how this all plays out. My theory for the moment is that Cohle and Hart didn't catch the mastermind behind the '95 deaths. They caught someone involved, for sure, but were forced to close the book early because of pressure from above, from Governor Tuttle and his cousin, who frankly I think is involved on the cult side of things. Too many mentions of Tuttle in a show that has a keen eye for detail. My biggest questions are 1) why did Cohle go off the grid for eight years and 2) why did he resurface in 2010. Great TV.

Yeah, it definitely seems like they're setting up Reggie Ledoux to be the fall guy for the murders. Regarding Cohle, I'm not sure if he goes off the grid voluntarily or gets kicked off the force. I mean, he was doing every drug known to man this past episode. Maybe he gets drug tested at some point. Maybe Hart rats him out. Who knows, Cohle did give Hart some false hope by deliberately lying to him about his chance to reconcile with his wife. Maybe it catches up with him. One thing we do know is that the current investigators are still in the dark about Cohle's undercover op.

And to answer #2, I think they've hinted that at least 1 new murder with the same MO has happened, presumably while whoever Hart and Cohle put away is still in jail.

And yes, that 6-minute scene was one of the best pieces of cinematography I've ever seen.
 
This may be blasphemous but for something different, I like Two Boots' pizza. Cornmeal crust.

I remember a buddy of mine telling me that not too long ago. I'm definitely keeping that in mind for the next time I fly up there. I'm biased towards Vinnie's, but my friend said the same thing about theirs being a bit better.
 
Good pizza in NY isn't a given. There is not a single good pizza place in Albany. Chinese too for that matter
