I don't understand the comparison. :dunno:

One is about hooks and pop, the other is about instruments and atmosphere.

The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin will always be compared as they all broke in around the same time and brought about the british rock phase to America.

I never really got into Zeppelin, and I've been put off by The Beatles because everyone feels the need to say they're THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME.

They're pretty great, though. Not the greatest ever.

I've worked in a music store for 8 years and I don't think I've ever even heard The Beatles and Pink Floyd mentioned in the same conversation beyond being from the same time period. Never musically. Beatles and Stones? Yeah. Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and Cream? Yeah. Pink Floyd is never really in those conversations though.

Coal Chamber only had one good album, their first one.

Dez is much better suited to music like Devildriver as opposed to slow and technical nu metal. He has a powerful and exciting voice, it was being wasted with Coal Chamber.

Agreed. Lot of people i know don't like Winter Kills. :(

Been on a Beatles kick as of late

Pink Floyd is still the better band

Same. Speaking of which, some girls in my study hall were talking about the Grammys on Monday. Basically, it went like this;

"Why was it all about the Beatles??"

"Oh, I think it was their 50 year anniversary of coming to America. My dad told me."

"Who cares."

-proceed to talk about Taylor Swift

:facepalm:

Idk, my friends compare the two all the time and I see it in other places too.

Well this is how I've been dealing with the cold.

Right on the deck. Can't skate on it, but it's really fun for puck handling and shooting.
