Islands in the stream.

Wickedly funny mokumentary series on Netflix.

Brought to us by the same director/writer that made the mindless Death to 2020, Death to 2021 drivel. With the virtually unwatchable Diane Morgan now as main character. Saw some clips and honestly have to wonder what the point is of the series. But watching Diane Morgan in anything for 5 mins. hard pass.

Should be called clunk. Or junk.

Seems like time would be better spent watching Science programs from Brian Cox, Carl Sagan etc and that Cunk appears to be mocking such presenters. What a waste of guests on this Cunk program.

These f***ing gas prices. I'm not sure how I'll afford to get to work pretty soon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see $2 a litre in Alberta by summer.
Try Vancouver, it is a joke, Carbon tax, Transit tax, GST on top of that. Already hit over 2 bucks in Vancouver.

Funny thing is the transit tax is supposed to be only where transit runs but it is ending up everywhere or gas companies are raping the suburbs where there is no transit like most of Vancouver island or interior.

Sometimes it would be cheaper to take a tanker to Alberta and bring it back and save 25 cents or more a liter. But guess what, that is illegal. Dumb.

28,000 to 48,000 litres to a tanker at 20 cents retail a litre is what? $5500 to $9500 in savings? And most times the difference is much higher. Currently today the average price in Vancouver is $1.80 a liter, anywhere form 1.77 and up.

OMG I just looked at prices in Edmonton, 1.16! At least 62 cents a liter difference, holy shit

Change those estimates time 3, $16500 to $29500

Gas prices have stabilized in AB since I posted that nearly a year ago but it won't last long. There was a news report the other day how Alberta has had the highest influx of residents from BC to Alberta in several decades. Nearly 30K people and affordability was one of the main reasons. When I posted that, it was $1.91 where I live.

We agree, Vancouver is a joke. ;)

Yeah, if you have to ask how much on anything its not the place to live plus people there opted for all this crap. Even visiting there and getting the hotel tax, room tax, GST tax, PST tax, the visitor tax, the parking fees, the hotelier tax, and whatever else they trot on there. Last time I was there my room rate was around half of what the total gouging was.

This guy makes one minute video song covers, playing all the instruments and doing all the vocals himself. A fun follow.

Masai Ujuri has officially jumped the shark. Bad underachiever team with some assets that teams are going to be willing to pay for and the only move he makes is acquiring jacob poeltl for multiple picks. It will be another monumentally boring nba draft again next year for the raptors. This team seems content to strive for the play in round these days.
