she wanted to be the "black Carrie Bradshaw" but moved to Windermere, half hour away from downtown? WTF
she says she travelled here all the time but couldn't figure out that Cactus Club at WEM or downtown isn't jumping at 10PM on a Tuesday night? like come on
Pretty stupid stance. She's all over the map in the interview and intertwining she's serious vs "its just entertainment" but all she did was slam Edmonton in Toronto Center of the universe terms. Like nobody has gone down that road before. lol at the woman on the panel getting angry because people are critiquing poor Jackies viewpoint, whatever it is.
Worse, and not disclosed is this person is a national rep for some firm. She doesn't disclose who. But makes a point of saying she is and that she'd had visits to Edmonton on a job basis. Can't think that this is responsible representation. Seems like all she wanted was the hits and her 15mins. Looks like she got it. She's straight up trolling this.
In anycase the person lived in Missisauga and is flaming Edmonton nightlife. She's 40clicks away from Toronto. She also states she was living 30K south of Edmonton. She was living in Windermere a pretty nice place. Which is part of Edmonton, and contained in Edmonton. She failed geography as well.
imagine a person bellowing "I make 6 figures" "I'm management" that brags about listing several homes while still complaining about how much rent/mortgage she has to pay and how much she lost. Plus she's doing this right in the middle of times where a significant amount of people are hitting foodbanks. But her significant complaint here is she didn't get to click her high heels on a Tuesday. She's not Carrie Bradshaw she's Marie Antoinette. The article she actually wrote is worse.
My trek to Edmonton ended up being an expensive mid-life crisis

"i moved to Edmonton and hated it everything about it"
"I needed to leave Toronto , I needed a change"
"I needed to get out of Edmonton, to move back to Toronto"
i recognize a pattern. The same person says she needs to be around music, noise nightlife all the time because she "wasn't meant to spend most of her nights alone" can't stand the company is my guess.
Imagine a person as well buying a swanky big house in Windermere for 400K and then quickly discovering it "didn't fit her budget" after she had quit her job to come here. Sounds like she doesn't plan well.
