New development apparently coming. High scale resort (opposite Aira/Crystal, kitty corner from Cosmopolitan).
I wonder how far down from Harmon that parcel goes. If it goes all the way down to the Coca-Cola store a lot of things getting torn down.

Two near-Strip sites front runners for potential A's stadium. Architectural renderings of domed stadium completed (but not shared). One site would be a partnership with casino/resort operator, other would be stand alone. But no specifics in early article version.

Maybe if the Boring system is up and running taking the pressure off of NEEDING traffic to be on LVB
I've thought for years parts of it should be shut down and through traffic ended. Turn it into a walking park. Put up small stands around the place, benches, tables, etc. Basically turn it into a larger Park like the area between NYNY and Park MGM. It would need to be flexible because they need to keep part of it pavement for the F1 Race if that becomes a permanent event.

My guess is the F1 race will be either on SB or NB lanes, not both.
Absolutely but that would mean when closing off portions of the strip, one lane would need to remain pavement with no permanent structures built there to allow the race to continue to be run.

F1 buying 39 acres to "lock in" grand prix race circuit.

I stopped watching F1 ever since Hammy unsurprisingly went woke and F1 races got even more boring as Mercedes became what Ferrari was during Schumis stretch of boring dominance. As much as I dislike the scuderia and their fans, even I was hoping for them to be competitive again and make it interesting.

I may watch the Netflix show covering F1 that I hear is great plus I heard that this was the most competitive season in twelve years.

Porsche and Audi joining F1 could be the biggest boost and I have always wanted to see Porsche compete in F1. Porsche Motorsports has won wherever it's chosen to compete and with the exception of Formula E, they have dominated motorsports more than any other manufacturer.
