We give yo-yos to the homeless. If just one goes pro, it is all worth it

That was awesome too. I am almost positive that if you gave 10,000 homeless people yo-yos not a single one would go pro. Not because of any judgement of the homeless, only based on judgement of professional yo-yoing.

I'm so lost when it comes to new music "artists" today. They all have to be super attractive, style icons, brand the **** out of themselves and have a robots help them sing garbage lyrics written by some sweaty fat guy that's basically just two generic, interchangeable lines repeated ad nauseam for three straight minutes. Getting in Twitter wars is more important for them from a financial standpoint than actually knowing how to sing. The more they are in the tabloids, the more money they make. It's so ****ed up and the dumb American public eats it up. They only care about **** when a "celebrity" cares about ****. Pisses me off.

Rant over.
see adele, sia.

This is cringe worthy

This is a really solid article about Kendrick Lamar and how the Grammy's keep certain genres segregated and unable to take the ultimate prize. Not that I put much stock in award shows, but Swift winning was ridiculous.

I have their new albums. Adele's is great and I'm only one listen in to Sia's but it's good so far. The use of Sia's Breathe Me in the Six Feet Under finale is awesome. Always enjoyed her stuff.

The Verge has turned into such a **** website.

Big Kendrick Lamar fan. Love his music and love what he does for the community.

In my opinion The Verge was never that great as their main page presentation is so jumbled.

All the tech sites have gone to hell. Engadget when they sold to AOL which led to the shuttering of TUAW. Gizmodo re-invents itself so many times it is comedic. The Cult of Mac now plasters an ads all over their site or an annoying you are blocking our ads post.

I'm really tired of every website (especially niche ones, which The Verge was supposedly founded as) feeling the need to report on the news. I don't care. If I want to read the news, I go on Reuters. I don't care about Donald Trump or feminism. I want tech news.

Not to mention The Verge is one of the most blatantly biased tech sites on the planet and their reviews are rubbish. I forget which review it was for, but one of the negatives was a certain software feature required an extra step.

And I agree, for a site that pumps up design so much, it's a mess.

I've never cared for Gizmodo. Jalopnik is the only Gawker site I enjoy and even then it's irritating seeing them repost stuff from Gawker and Jezebel.

MacRumors is one of the few sites I still enjoy reading because it doesn't feel the need to do everything, but rather it focuses on a specific topic.

Even Android Authority is rubbish.

On the subject of music. An old favorite who not as many people know about as they should:

And a band that I just recently found out about that I'm digging a lot:
