My favorite dish though is the short rib pappardelle. It's like an Italian Beef Stronganoff

Don't remind me of Korean BBQ. The last time I went to Gen I puked all of it up when I got home. All my friends were fine but my GI tract was destroyed for a week. I don't think I will be able to eat it ever again. You really have to be careful with the cooking and making sure its well done.
 
Didn't know there was a Rao's in La as well. Have wanted to go to the one here forever. I knew it was expensive but looking at the menu on the website damn. $50 for some veal or $30 for a chicken dish? The meatballs is just one giant meatball isn't it?

The Veal parm is so ****ing worth it!

I had been wanting to eat at Rao's since about 2001. IT is impossible to get a table at the one in NY. I finally ate the Vegas one in 2011,twice in one trip.
Wken the Kings went in 2012, I took a mutual friend of ours there since he placed the bet for me.
The parm is the size of a pizza. It's like 10 inches in diameter. The closest to sex on a plate that I have ever had.
