about a third of the desktop page on the right hand side is wasted white space, and the mobile views are a definite downgrade in comparison to the fairly clean appearance of the former version

haven't tried much search functionality yet but i'm assuming that's a downgrade as well, as i'm currently not sure if there's a function to search a user's post history (if there is i haven't found out how to do it yet)
