Some really good pack luck with Hossa in a day 1 reward pack, Wheeler, Boyle, Bishop, Dubnyk and Kronwall coming from untradeable collection completion packs. I use the 15 game durations and miscellaneous trainings to keep Tolchinsky boosted up. Whatever NHL cards I have with contracts left I play on my 3rd line and D pairs. I've still got about 22 NHL collections left to do so I'm hoping to pull some upgrades out of those when I get around to it. Just reached division 1 last week, hoping it isn't as big of a cheese fest as everyone seems to think.

So I picked up '14 to get my feet wet, my buddy and I are playing the EA Seasons Club stuff. Any tips? I can't seem to toe drag like I see other people doing, and my release takes ages. Lot's of opportunities in front that I just wind up and rip, can't just take quick slappers/one timers.

Any sweet jerseys I should be rocking? I've used the Whalers jerseys most of the year and was wondering if any obscure jerseys look cool. Every team I play is wearing some form of Maple Leafs, Canadiens, or Red Wings jersey.

Is that the one where you create your own player? If so, it might just be that you haven't leveled up yet and everyone else playing has maxed out attributes.

Yeah it is, but I have the same trouble with real players. I just hate being a newbie.

I love how they're using our current jerseys with our old number/letter set on them. FWIW I think that'd do wonders to liven up our current jerseys...

server destroying because of how poorly thought out valve made it

randomly throughout the day every game you join for a ten minute period will be a year beast brawl where both teams have a big year beast thing on their team that you can use ability points to level up and the winning team gets items

no wyvern is nothing like abaddon

edit - wyvern is a support with a cool team disabling ult and a percentage based health reduction attack skill whereas abaddon is a sort of tanky carry who takes forever to kill
