Doesn't surprise me in the least. We know they're cheap but not surprised to find out the tide turning behind closed doors to be more toxic. Lots of favoritism, lots of shit Yadi made up for while he was here, boatloads of issues with pro development. We get these great prospects and they stagnate every damn time.

This franchise is a legit dumpster fire and will be for probably the next 5 years, longer if we get unlucky.

I can't stand him on the radio either, his mannerisms drive me crazy for some reason, the way he drags out certain words. I've met him in person a couple times before though and he is an awesome guy, couldn't be nicer.

OPENING DAY IS HERE, BABY!!!

Hopefully our guys do a great job this year, get a solid draft class with their picks, manage to trade some of our future free agents at the deadline for value, and otherwise kick ass and take names!

I don't think I've ever been less optimistic about going into a season than this one, I expect them to be very, very bad. Hopefully some of the young guys can take some positive steps and turn into real players. I expect the rotation to get blown up pretty bad this year.

I get the feeling that this is going to be a transition year. We could hopefully get some real players with our picks, make it a solid draft. I'm also going to be looking to Walker, Winn, Scott, Herrera, and maybe Gorman to improve our offense, Fedde, Mikolas, Matz, possibly Gray, possibly Helsley, and possibly Arenado getting dealt for prospects, guys like McGreevy, Mathews, Liberatore taking rotation spots along with Pallante, etc.

And there's still the farm system to think about. It's all about transitioning to the youth and the future this year.

The hitting approach so far has been fun to watch. Don't see guys trying to hit home runs on every pitch. Gorman's 2 AB's were nice controlled swings that resulted in base hits.
