OT: Watcha Listenin' To? Part VIIII: Nine lives, cat's eyes

My Dad is in a bad way health wise. He's my lifelong buddy.

I keep hearing this song in my head. This is a clip of me playing it from a little while ago.

I've been having a hard time lately. I don't even want to play my drums anymore, even though I'm pretty good at it. Just trying to keep on keepin' on each day when I wake up. I'm not married. I don't have kids. My girlfriend (of 6 years) and I broke up a year ago. I'm kind of on an island. Again, keep on keepin' on, I guess. I'll push through it eventually. At least I have in the past. Sorry to be a bummer. Good song though.

We went to see Beth Gibbons at the Met last night. Unbelievable show. First US tour in 17 years, so we're heading down to DC to see it again tonight. And maybe NYC tomorrow.

This is great stuff,. The Crowes are one of my favorite bands, one of the last true "rock and roll" bands, IMO.

They played very well with Page. A shame the brothers were such a shit show and messed it all up.

One of my favorite Zep songs....out of probably 20 or so, lol.

The Crowes + Page shows were so, so much better than that Page/Plant monstrosity.

great live version

I always enjoy seeing/hearing a bassist playing a Rick.

The keyboardist is like Wakeman in the heyday of Yes, lol. I know the old organs/pianos have different sounds, but how many do you really need, especially if they're modern keyboards/synths that can mimic the big 3 (Hammond, Rhodes, Wurlitzer) pretty well? Good jam though.
