Probably my favorite moment in the clubs history. What a run that was, being in the crowd for the Romero goal vs CA was also really special.

This is the problem though. He's 19. He's coming to a completely different world both on and off the pitch.
We have to be patient with him and understand that his emergence very well could take a year or two and we can't expect him to come in immediately and make a huge impact.
We all wish it happens, but it's not realistic.
And just to clarify, it's not about you specifically, it's both the fans and the team itself. There have been so many players over the past few years where expectations were so high and when they didn't immediately deliver, they were cast aside and jettisoned from the team.
Maybe the good thing is that this is a Bologna project so they won't want to screw it up.

Courtois and Gervais put me to sleep. This has to be the most boring start of the season in franchise history.
I'm not even upset at losing anymore. It wouldn't surprised if we start the year 0-6 and I'll be indiferenté.
At least in the USL/NASL days, you had the CONCACAF hype more often than not.

He can't be that much worse right now than some of the players who are/aren't playing. I'm hoping that he can leave a mark this season and STAY HEALTHY
I mean, this is CFMTL, so yes, he can in fact be worse than what we have.
Hyperbole aside, it's more to caution everyone against falling in to the same trap that we've fallen in to with so many guys we've acquired over the past few years (Duke, Lassiter, Opoku, Yankov, Coccaro, Ibrahim, Rea, Zouhir, Herrera, Pantemis, Sirois, Miljevic, Toye, probably others) where we expect them to come in and have an immediate impact, and if/when they don't, we end up casting them aside for the next shiny object.
This is a 19 year old kid. All I'm saying is we gotta be careful to not put pressure on him.
As I said, this is more for the team than it is the fans in actuality.

10 years already eh, I remember where I was and who I watched that game with.
Probably in my top2-3 of sports experience even though I watched it on TV.
The final match against Club America was so disheartening, but what a roller coaster of emotion that run was.
There was a nice couple articles on Lapresse on the goal, they spoke to a bunch of people involved.
