Exactly like expect as defensively responsible 4th line forward . Also gets to play some PK lwith Steel injured and looked good so far . 4th line has been good recently. He and Blackwell work well together. Looks like he belongs in the NHl which is not unexpected considering his extensive AHL experience.
If Faksa and/or Dellandrea had gotten injured last year he likely would've made his debut last season already.
He's looking better each game. His puck control along the boards is good and he's starting to make plays with getting the puck to the net, or make a good pass in the offensive zone.
Once completely healthy, he might be the odd man out though
I've never cared for him as a player, but hes been very solid. Does almost nothing offensively but he wins most of his puck battles on the forecheck and is strong defensively. Also does not do anything dumb like turn the puck over. Plays a very simple, safe game. Good 4th line/spare forward for sure
