Gens have started on the right path of the needed record above. They are currently 6-1-0-1 in their last 8 with 16 games left to go.I said when they had 24 games left they would need to go 14-4-4-2 to have a shot at first.
None of us play for them. Crazy stat.I see Oshawa winning the East. However, can someone explain to me your road record, only winning 11 of 24? You've beaten the top teams on the road, yet overall, anything but road warriors.
As we've seen in Kingston too....everyone else around us (Barrie, Osh, Brant) are all doing well so creating any separation is going to come down to head to heads . The top 4 teams are either 8-2 or 7-3 in the last 10Gens have started on the right path of the needed record above. They are currently 6-1-0-1 in their last 8 with 16 games left to go.
It does feel like every night all the teams are winning. Even when you think a loss is coming, the competition in the standings finds a way to get a point. As we've seen in Kingston too....everyone else around us (Barrie, Osh, Brant) are all doing well so creating any separation is going to come down to head to heads . Barrie and Kingston may have lost, however; they both gained points on Oshawa in the SO.I feel that was 2 games in a row where Oshawa really only playes 1 period of hockey, the second period. Let looked a but lethargic at most times tonight only getting sprits of energy. Gillespie never really felt in trouble tonight. Tough game. Luckily Kingston and Barrie lost tonight to keep Oshawa in 1st place.
True. Barrie 2 games in hand and 1 point back. Kingston 1 game in hand and 1 point back.Barrie and Kingston may have lost, however; they both gained points on Oshawa in the SO.
really tight standings in the east with the top 4. Brantford is now 1st after winning this afternoon. They are the hottest team right now and there special teams are probably the best in the league !True. Barrie 2 games in hand and 1 point back. Kingston 1 game in hand and 1 point back.
Think Barrie finishes first overall. Kingston probably has the hardest schedule the rest of the way in the OHL. Going to be very tough I think we finish 4/5/6 for sure. Oshawa I believe has a somewhat hard schedule as well? May be wrong but believe I heard that somewhere.
1-6 is going to be so tight. Maybe 1-7 but we will see.
That’s a tough stretch of games. Good luck.In the 12 games remaining for Oshawa, they have a really tough next 5 games and then the schedule softening up for the last 7.
The Gens are currently on place to finish 41-21-4-2 which is 88 pts. That means they would need to finish with a 7-4-1-0. That will not be enough to secure 1st in this division.
Realistically they need to finish the last 12 games with a 9-2-1-0 record to put them at 92 points which also may not be enough but gives them a better chance.
Starts tonight in Erie followed by Kingston(H), Brantford(A), London(H) and Brampton (A). No easy task.
