Options for Center

I like Holden, but after looking at the market for certain guys, like Methot, I'm not sure the market is quite as high as we might want to think.

On that same note, I don't think Dallas has quite the same interest in a guy like Holden after getting a guy like Methot.

this is what im at right now. try to fleece the Habs for Galchenyuk.

I know he's not an ideal center..for now..but i feel like the Habs have just torn into his confidence.

hes a guy whose scored 30 goals in this league, and i believe the year he did it, he did it as a center.

If youre concerned about his defense, stick Nash on his line.

Im not sure how you get him....but if you could...

then you could trot this out there next year.

Kreider - Zibanejad - Buchnevich
Vesey - Galchenyuk - Nash
Miller - Hayes - Zuccarello
Grabner - Lias Anderson - Fasth

I mean...seriously..thats legit top 10 maybe even top 5 offenses in the NHL.

Then youd have...
McD - Shattenkirk
Skjei - Smith
Beregazlov - DeAngelo
Holden

Staal evaporated through dark magic.

Thats a legit top 10, possibly top 5 defense in the NHL.

If Henrik is even 90% of peak Henrik...the Rangers are challenging for the Presidents Trophy.

Rangers aren't getting him without losing a roster player.

Little knows Pavelec pretty well... he's interesting; a 2C with lots of 1C experience... he CAN play 1C... should he? Exact same can be said for Kadri, who is a lot like Zibanejad... problem is that they've been with they're respective teams a while and each a fan favorite unti his own. What would it take?

I think Little would be a great move. I have no idea what WPG would want.

Little or Kadri, either is good. They've both been on some of the worst teams their entire careers...

Reinhart would cost more than ROR (in terms of return)

ROR is getting paid a ton of money and eventually Buffalo is going to have to pay their young guys. I think ROR is a more realistic trade.

Remember, they have all the leverage... they don't have to trade him. They lost on Shattenkirk. They'd be able to ask for Deangelo and a first or him, a 2nd, and maybe Miller. I'd do neither. Remember how we pined away for Honka and Vatanen for like 2-3 years. Well, here's that under-25 PPD. Now to trade him?
