Sorry folks!
I'll got with the second most famous #99 after Wilf Paiement, Wayne Gretzky.

Wow. You know how ONE pick per franchise works? Edmonton has 4 top-40 players.

I'll burn a franchise pick on a team whose 2nd best player isn't top 100.

Baltimore selects Buffalo Sabre DOMINIK HASEK!

Yes, I know how the draft works, thank you.

I also knew that if I picked Gretzky, I'd get this message from you.

However, I'd like to thank you. The last time you wrote me to complain about my picks, you did so in a private message and in much less glowing terms. What had I done to deserve such a message, back then? I wasn't drafting enough players from the '10s and '20s at your likening.

As I was told at the time, you're not a real ATDer until you've been insulted by VI.

And, by the way, yes, Hasek is a great pick considering he's part of Buffalo, which don't have many all-time great. I did consider drafting Hasek, of course, but I opted for Gretzky as I never had the chance to draft him in any sort of draft.

I think gap between Gretz and next guy from Oil is big enough to be picked as 1oa tbh. But Hasek is also a good pick, we had him on our list.

Dang it, I wish I had known about this before you all started. I don’t hop into this forum frequently, and I guess I just glazed until now. Oh, well, maybe next time.

Sign-ups for the main ATD usually start in December or January, with the draft itself starting in January or February.
