That was quick!

Anyway, we'll take our final two defensemen with King Clancy of the Ottawa Senators and Bill Gadsby of the New York Rangers.

And anyone who doesn't know the identity of our goalie can wait a little longer. Lol

Re-uniting him with Forsberg from their cup-winning year:

Baltimore selects Claude Lemieux, NEW JERSEY DEVILS.

He was great in Montreal and Colorado but he played 120+ more games in NJ, won the Conn Smythe in NJ and had his 40+ goal season in NJ, so... he reps the Garden State.

Sorry guys, I felt asleep last night and wasn’t able to pick.

I’ll finish with;

Glenn Hall, Chicago BlackHawks
Jimmy Ward, Montreal Maroons

SEND YOUR VOTES FOR

REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS to @Johnny Engine (the mod will tally the votes)
(ranking your team first).

Ideally voting will be from now, TUESDAY to THURSDAY, a 3-day period.
There are only 4 teams to rank, so it should be easier than usual.

@tony d @Claude The Fraud

(@Professor What & Hitru should submit one ranking list between them to make it easier for Johnny to process.)

Note: Any past ATDer or HOH project participant is invited to vote!

OK, conundrum here.
Gallifrey and Pittsburgh are tied for first, while St. Jean and Baltimore are tied for third. The votes are remarkably symmetrical and resist tie breaking attempts. My suggestion, other than soliciting votes from others, would be to pair Pittsburgh and Baltimore, geographically in the Patrick division, in a first round series, while Gallifrey and St. Jean make up the other side of the bracket. Everyone good with that?

The procedure initisted by someone without a dog in the fight is objective!

Unless there is an objection in the next 24 hours (if any of all team GMs don't "like" the idea).

I was asked to post the standings, and I guess the best way to write it down is:

Patrick Division:
1. Pittsburgh
2. Baltimore

Adam's Division:
1. Gallifrey
2. St. Jean

There simply aren't any natural tiebreakers, but if I must award a regular season champion, best I can do is give Gallifrey the alphabetical nod.
The playoffs should settle this just fine!

Patrick Division (a.k.a. PCHA league)
1. Pittsburgh

Adam's Division (a.k.a. NHA league)
1. Gallifrey

... the two will face off for the Challenge-cup era playoff Stanley Cup championship.

The winner of which could accept a "challenge" from any other team in competition.
