I think I know what we're doing here, but I'm waiting to see if Hitru has any final thoughts before he calls it a night if he hasn't already. Expect the picks fairly soon.

Sergei Fedorov C Detroit Red Wings
F Yzerman.... even more shocking: f Red Kelly, a hero at center for a Toronto dynasty after a clearly elite D for your top-4 blueline from his Detroit days.

At first i assumed Kelly for your blueline, then thought genius! Kelly as center and 7th dman option. Then i wondered if Stevie Y was the play. I not at all fathomed Fedorov was in the cards.

Your fav?

To be fair: I have trouble having panned Rocket Richard. I chose Morenz cuz he or Beliveau were penciled in predraft. But in hindsight, there are SO MANY great centers... and Maurice is a difference maker. Who wouldn't want him on their team? I ASSUMED he would be the first Hab off the board if not Harvey, and never pivoted from my Habs c strategy.

There's too much meat left on the table.

We gotta do a OPPF2: the minor league draft where all non-OPPF-picked players are in play.

Fedorov more so for the defensive option.

In the easiest choice of the draft so far I go with Goalie Patrick Roy Montreal Canadiens
