I love Bednar I don't care what any of you goobers have to say about him when the Avs are on a losing streak.
I still think the goalie interference thing is bullshit.
Drouin's ass hair tickles the goalie and it's not a goal because he's in the paint with like one skste. IT'S CLEARLY on the skater to avoid the paint. They've made that clear. You're going to take contact there. It wasn't like he was even on the edge, and got tossed in, he was both skates in the paint.
Why does it matter if it's as the puck is being fired at the net or not? If anything he had less of a reason to be running through there.

I've never seen Bednar that mad but he's right that if a player shoots while the goalie is already injured and it injured him more it should be blown

My respect for Jared just went up after tonight. Thats the greatest presser hes ever had since hes been here.
Drouin may one day have a PPG season if everything goes right. He's absolutely capable of it.
Just get him into the playoffs healthy though. I seen him in Tampa as a young guy be Tampa's best forward in the playoffs.
I think he's got a monster season left in him. When he's healthy both physically and mentally he's a warrior. I'd like it to be here.

All I could say is it's supposed to be a gentlemanly game with some standards and protocols. This asswipe injures a player and then like a little weasel goes and scores. Good players with class would be fine with the ref blowing the whistle.

Logan O’Connor for the next 6-8 minutes after the injury was something else.
He was leaping at everybody trying to hit and start shit with all comers. Even after his breakaway that earned a PP, the whistle went and he jumped at Benson with a punch in the face.

Pettersson nearly stopped the play himself after Matt Calvert had his teeth shotgun-blasted out of his mouth. This guy scores on an empty net next to a goalie writhing in pain and celebrates like he just scored his 50th of the season. Class vs classless.

Benson better be counting his lucky stars that he doesn't play the Avs again. I can't believe how classless that was. And to celebrate on top of it, yikes. Fully understand why the Avs players were upset.
