Incredible backcheck by Drouin to prevent the 2 on 1. He was absolutely flying and immediately pointed to Toews to take the puck carrier Thompson as he was taking away the pass. Imagine if it was Mikko instead of JD to start OT. Sabres might have finished the game on that 2 on 1. Drouin backchecked like a madman.

It's not going to happen, he's selling out his body on the boards, and he's really not built for that, but he keeps doing it, even with the injuries.

He's actually into doing the Forsberg reverse hit too.

If he's going to play like this, we'll get 60ish games a year, but fk it, give him 3 to 4M and enjoy every minute. Try to manage it so he's healthy for the playoffs, because he's even more of a beast there.

Drouin can drive a line better than Mikko can.
