He has to be neck and neck with Bradley Zimmer for being the worst offensive player in Blue Jays history.I had almost forgotten how bad DeJong is.
3 hits in 13 games all singles. He has to be neck and neck with Bradley Zimmer for being the worst offensive player in Blue Jays history.
De Jong had what? 2? 3 hits in 15 games for us when he was here?
.. he was on a 70 pitch limit before this gameStupid management. Starting pitcher shutting them out just giving up one hit and you take him out? Brain dead idiots.

Abrams certainly does some weird things as a fielder
Honestly, even breaking back to second made complete sense based on the way the play developed. The fielder got to the ball and had it all the way in his glove, so Clement started back. Then it popped out as he hit the wall, so he had to change directions. I don't think there was much to be done there.Would not have mattered.
Shaw was standing at 2nd. Both Heineman and Clement were in between the 2nd and 3rd. If Clement stops at 3rd Heineman is out (or Straw not sure about the rule here if Straw stays at 2nd and Clement at 3rd with Heineman in between). The best play was to go for it.
It was a bad run though. He should have stayed in between the 2nd and 3rd until he was 100% sure the ball was caught and if he would have done that he would have been easily safe. But he went back to 2nd before being sure the ball was controlled by the fielder which is a rookie mistake honestly.
Bunting for a hit is always fun. What do you think about bunting with Heineman?
He seems like he'd be a polarizing player. Has all the tools but just seems to not be able to be good lol. Like he gets to lots of line drives but then throws the ball awayAbrams certainly does some weird things as a fielder
getting 5 full innings out of him today was huge. He was fantastic. Great team to make your debut againstTake the 5 innings and run. Lucas isn’t even stretched out.
