It's always high. Usually a million every regular season game. They just said the 50/50 draw in Edmonton tonight is 6.1 Million. WTF?!

It's amazing in the exact same playoff where Dallas was heroic for beating Colorado without a couple of its stars, they're still going to go down as underachieving if they lose in five games here, and with Edmonton flat out handing them Game 1.Dallas has 5 million in cap space this summer and will lose at least 3 quality forwards. And half their defense stinks.
This is probably the best chance they had at a cup for a while and probably wasted it.
What’s the record for most series wins without a cup? Deboer has to be up there.
McSmugnessAlso I would be shocked if McDavid comes this close to a cup only to come up just short two years in a row.
At least the Bills keep it close and respectable when they lose to the Chiefs. Dallas didn't even bother showing up in this series.Stars are the Buffalo Bills of hockey (sorry @AfroThunder396 lol)
Probably someone like Bryan Murray. What’s the record for most series wins without a cup? Deboer has to be up there.
I'm rooting for McDavid. Obviously, in a vacuum I'd prefer a non-Canadian cup, but there are a couple of mitigating factors:
1) McDavid is so f***ING good, he deserves a Cup, truly. The game is worse if a guy who is probably going to go down as the 5th best player of all time (or better!) doesn't have a natty.
2) The Oilers winning will make Leafs (and probably Habs and Flames and Canucks fans so goddamn mad)
I legitimately think its bad for the league if the clear best player in the world never won a cup.
So I dont have too many qualms about it.
I also have never found this Panther team to be the least bit likable. They only got a pass until this point because its fun to laugh at Toronto and Carolina
I'd like to see McDavid win a Cup...but him deciding it's not in Edmonton and hitting free agency next summer is pretty appealing just for the sheer chaos it could create.

There isn't really a lot to compare it to cause usually the 'best player' in a sport wins sooner or later, the obvious exception lately being Mike Trout, when he had working body parts. Judge too if the Yankees don't win in the next couple years, although at least unlike Trout he gets to the playoffs every year. Certainly the NBA the best player wins, the NFL best players are usually QB's and invariably they win one way or another. We know Gretzky, Mario, Crosby, Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr etc have won Cups.I legitimately think its bad for the league if the clear best player in the world never won a cup.

I wouldn't want to see it cause there's a non-zero chance he somehow winds up on Broadway. If there wasn't about thirty years' distance between the Oilers having Gretzky and McDavid I'd be envious of their luck but they haven't won yet with McDavid, and money issues kept them from extending the Gretzky dynasty another five years or so.I'd like to see McDavid win a Cup...but him deciding it's not in Edmonton and hitting free agency next summer is pretty appealing just for the sheer chaos it could create.
Florida gonna choke this one away?
