Yes he was. But still, fresh out of college and all that. Competing with teenagers and then thrown into the fire of a SC playoff... Not many humans on this earth can manage that without problems.

Sad to say I missed those games, so I can't say for sure. I'm just thinking of his age and experience of that magnitude of games. You catch my drift?

Was also benched in the WC. I think his experience at the end of this season has to have been eye opening for him, and should give him motivation to train hard this summer, as he knows how much higher a level of hockey the NHL is.

The fact he got any run on a team with two premium OFD in Werenski and Lacombe speaks to his ability. I think he’s right on track to be the difference maker we want him to be. I think there will be some overreactions next year because we’ve had a conservative blueline for so long. Every mistake a gunner like him makes will be heightened by a fan base largely unaccustomed to that type of playstyle.

I know it hasn't happened yet but its super accurate!

Between the playoffs and wc he should at least be prepared for next season. Mistakes will surely happen, just have to be patient with him. He really has a full season to sort out what he can and can't get away with. I suspect he is a quick study but it still might take some time before he can be that stud ppqb that we desperately need.
