They didn't have as many people out of the lineup but conversely Dallas was facing a much better team than we did though. We arguably faced the second worst team in the playoffs, or third worst above Montreal maybe

I’m not talking about what happened by the end of the Canes series. I’m talking about the general sentiment anytime our top players get injured.

The hard truth is that people shit their pants anytime it happens to us because they know we don’t have a strong enough roster up and down the lineup, even though those same people won’t admit it when everyone is healthy.

Wow that’s a memorable game. As good a game 7 as you will see.

The game turned on a bunch of things - among them Makar breaking his stick on a point shot with Colorado on the power play and just over 7 minutes left - Dallas rushes the other way and Makar takes a penalty for tripping on that counter attack (now that’s the penalty I thought was sketchy) - and Necas leaves the ice clutching his wrist on the same play.

Dallas ties the game on the ensuing 4 on 4 or the brief power play that follows it. On the wrap around that goes in off the D man’s skate.

Makar breaking his stick there, I mean such a random thing.

Maybe Bednar should have called a time out when the game got tied?

Except you're twisting it as if the Stars dealt with anything close. Robertson/Miro are huge losses but it's not close to what the Devils dealt with v Carolina. A healthy Devils team beats Carolina, we had a line of Bastian Dowling Tatar getting mins down goals, come the f*** on lol
