One where we score on 25% of the shots on goal? If only that were more common.

Caps overall are shooting very high on the season if I’m not mistaken. We’re more towards the lower middle of the pack. I have to imagine things will turn for us if we keep driving play at the level that we do.

Update on the Metro with today’s results:

-Caps open up some room on the Canes and Devils up 3.5 games on both.
-Devils and Canes virtually tied for 2nd / 3rd
-Both are 4.5 games up on Columbus who are first out of the playoffs right now.

I don't think that's their game. They will shoot lower in the second half of the season than they did in the first. Easiest bet in the world to make.

Honestly, Tampa is an even higher shooting percentage team than Washington right now.

Washington are shooting over 2% over, Tampa are shooting over 3% over. It looks like Tampa also shot about 2% over last year and a bit over league average in most of the last handful of years, but not as much over as the last two years. They should regress a bit in shooting before season’s end, even if they continue shooting above average. That seems to be their thing.

I forgot Kevin Hayes played on the Pens. Felt like he was on LTIR or out of the league as of this year. That was a horrible goal.
